Question: new data library view not showing all data

Hi,

I tried to upload some local data to our Galaxy instance through the new data library interface. All data was loaded, but it doensn't get listed in the data library

I did the following:

  • uploaded data from server by inserting typing the path, checked "preserve directory structure" and "link files instead of copying" (all done through new interface)
  • everything gets uploaded (I can see the job running)
  • when trying to view the files, only a subset is shown in the new interface, when using the deprecated interface of when going through the admin interface I can see everything.

I am an admin myself, so everything should be visible by default and the datasets are set to public.
I'm using Galaxy v15.10 on Ubuntu 14.04.04, run in a virtualenv.

Any ideas?

So just double checking: have you looked at the top header, does it say something like "showing 15 of 22 items"? You need to click on the "2" or the ">>" to see the remaining data.

Well, this is embarrassing.......
Hadn't noticed that button at all.

I am glad the problem was so easy to solve. Don't worry, as I have said, I keep making this mistake as well.
