Question: Restricting access to run_reports server

Is it possible to restrict access to the web server started by sh run_reports.sh? I realize that I could restrict it to localhost by changing the "host" in reports_wsgi.ini, but I would still like it to be available to certain administrators and outside individuals. Is there a way to implement access restrictions in a different way?
