Hi all

I am able to run genome browser in box on my workstation and to access, I just have to key in the IP address of "127.0.0.1:1234" to access.

But, can I bring it up to the Cloud (or a central server) where users under the same network can access Genome browser in box too?

Regards,

Julius

Hello,

Setting this up locally (laptop or an internal server) are what the general instructions cover.
Start here: http://genome.ucsc.edu/goldenPath/help/gbib.html

I did not see anything specific about a cloud version, however an AWS server is just like any other. If you understand how to administrate the server, this seems possible. But asking the UCSC team that supports the tool is probably the best path forward for questions about this. The UCSC mailing lists/forums are in the link above.

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
