Hi,

I have had a number of Tophat jobs queued for 48hrs now. Is there a long waiting time right now? I only have 18% storage left, I was worried that possibly they haven't started because there's not enough storage for them but I assumed they would run and just present an error message if that was the case?

Thanks in advance

Louise

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your reply - all my jobs are waiting nothing is running. They have been waiting to run since Monday now? I don't really know what to do for the best. Should I cancel them all and  queue them individually (I originally set up the jobs by selecting multiple datasets and executing them all together in a batch)?

I checked our queue for your jobs and did not find any. Please try re-submitting them. Batch submission should not be the problem.
Just a quickcheck: you are using usegalaxy.org server, right?

Hi Martin,

Thanks for checking - I am on use galaxy.org, I will resubmit at some stage in the next few days. For now I'll delete those jobs off my history. Hopefully just a glitch.

Thanks again

Louise

Do you have any jobs running or are they all waiting? I think there is 1 'large' (e.g. tophat) job limit on usegalaxy.org

You are correct that jobs would run even if you have 1% of storage left and after the job finishes the qouta would be updated and future jobs prevented because of the quota limit.
