Hi
I would like to know if there an easy way to delete all datasets with a particular tag from all histories?
I can of course view all datasets with a particular tag by searching on the User> saved datasets page. However I cannot see how to delete selected datasets en mass.
Do you know a way I could do this without having to go into each history separately ?
I have set up a workflow which places tags on intermediate files I do not want to keep, helping me manage my disk usage.
Thanks Guy
PS I know I could use the 'Delete Non-Output Completed Intermediate Steps' on a step in the work flow, but I have been unable to get this to work (whatever step I place it on).
HI
The answer from martin below is great but I wondered.
is it correct that the 'Delete Non-Output Completed Intermediate Steps' command is not functional at the moment?
(might be an idea to add delete button to the page 'https://usegalaxy.org/dataset/list?use_panels=True' if it is not too difficult)
Thanks Guy
This functionality should be working correctly. Can you share the workflow you're using with me?
HI
I have tried placing 'Delete Non-Output Completed Intermediate Steps' on a number of diffrent workflows. On most it causes an error and does not delete intermediate steps (though 'snowflakes' are used) ..
On this simple workflow it does not generate an error but it does not delete the hidden intermediate steps (though 'snowflakes' are used) .
https://usegalaxy.org/u/guy1/w/copy-of-genome-coverage-histograms
The command is on the last step 'plotting tool'
Could I ask if which step the command is in the workflow is important, or will any step do regardless of placement? I cannot find any help or documentation on this command
Thanks Guy
I have created a trello card to track this bug report.
