Hello,

I am working on a project to identify novel transcripts and mRNA splicing due to a deletion of an exon in mice. To do this, I wanted to use a tool that is no longer on usegalaxy.org, but is in the Tool Shed (HERE). I was wondering how I could incorporate this into usegalaxy.org, as I am not using my own Galaxy instance.

Alternatively, if there is a better way to do this, please let me know!

Thanks!

Hi,

tools on usegalaxy.org are highly curated and the tool you mentioned probably won't make it there again. (https://toolshed.g2.bx.psu.edu/view/jjohnson/filter_bed_on_splice_junctions)

This said you can have a look at the list of public Galaxies (https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/PublicGalaxyServers) and see whether some have it installed.

Setting up a Galaxy instance is pretty straight forward so you might want to also consider it: http://getgalaxy.org

Let us know if you need help with anything.
