Question: Local instance: This job is waiting to run

Hi all

I'm loading a fastq file (90Mb....so not a big one) on my local instance of galaxy, but it stuck on "This job is waiting to run"................I used local instance to avoid this problem, so what is the matter?

From the description you give, it sounds as if something is wrong with the install. You are running the latest version and followed these instructions? http://getgalaxy.org

If this is the first job you have tried to run, or all jobs have failed, start by double checking the dependencies listed on the wiki above - Python version, etc.
