Question: bowtie for Illumina parameters checkboxes automatically checked

In the workflow editor (on usegalaxy.org), for a step involving Bowtie for Illumina, I'm unable to set the option for "Suppress the header in the output SAM file" to false when the full parameters are specified. I can uncheck the checkbox, but when I save the workflow, the checkbox becomes automatically checked. The same is the case for the boxes for the --max and --un options. Am I failing some sort of parameter validation?
