Hi, I created this new account to use on but I have not yet received my verification email. I tried resending the email several times but it has not yet appeared in my inbox or spam or trash folders. I'm not sure what is going wrong? The email I used is <admin redacted for privacy>.

The emails can take up to an hour to be sent. If you resend it, the clock starts over. That said, these usually come quicker, around 30 minutes last time I tested at Timing is somewhat dependent on the server load, how (or if) the email is forwarded across linked accounts, and similar.

Be sure to check your spam and trash folders, sometimes these get filtered into those places the first time.

And if you use a service puts a hold on email delivery by requiring a pass-through link by the sender (paywall or otherwise), you'll never get it.

I'll check your account and run a quick test as well, to make sure more is not going on. We just updated the Galaxy release on the server, some problem may have been introduced.

If you get the activation email and it works before we write back, please let us know.

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team

At, I just tested account activation with a brand new Gmail + Galaxy account and the activation email arrived immediately. This also worked another member of our team during the last weeks (several tests, across email domains), where some took 30 minutes to arrive (and was filtered into Trash).

I do see that you have an account at this server, but it is still marked as "unverified".

So, this all means the function is working and your account is set up. You just need to activate it. If not activated, you won't be able to login past 6 hrs after the account was created (about 2 hrs ago as of now) and the activation will need to be resent. Please check the items in my comments above -- in particular your email filters, 3rd party or set within Gmail. You can resend the link again if you need to make any changes that ensure delivery is not blocked.

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
