Hi all,

I've been getting this error message for a while upon trying to use the "fetch bases flanking tool" of STR-FM in web based galaxy (tool used to work fine before):

Traceback (most recent call last): File "/galaxy/main/shed_tools/toolshed.g2.bx.psu.edu/repos/arkarachai-fungtammasan/str_fm/48b5f719e36a/str_fm/pair_fetch_DNA_ff.py", line 14, in <module> from galaxy import eggs ImportError: No module named galaxy

Does anyone know what might be causing it and if there is anything I can do to fix it?

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide,

Nicolás

Hi Nicolas,

The recent Galaxy main update makes the python galaxy module unavailable. I made the new version of the code and gave to the galaxy team a few weeks ago. Hopefully, they will replace the code soon. If not, you may take the source code from my GitHub (see in publication in citation of the tool ) and run galaxy locally with the new version of source code.

Best, Chai

Please update your repository in the Tool Shed and everybody can update their Galaxies as necessary.

This should be fixed on Main and any other Galaxy once they update Galaxy with https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/pull/3973 or update the tools to latest versions (once updated in the main tool shed)
