Question: Installing Tools from ToolShed? (some are slow some are missing dep.)

Hi all,

I'm using latest stable Galaxy Docker Build and installing some tools.... While some install with no problem (green Installed), some are freezed on New, Installing tools dependencies and Missing tools dependencies. I do not know what is the avarage time but I had for 1-2 hours now the "suite_cufflinks" on "new" and some of the components are marked as "missing dep.." - (package_zlib_1_2_8). What is the best way to continue? Uninstall them and search for another version?

Have a look at top inside the container and see if it's still running or not. I've occasionally had tool installations crash.

I have quite inconsistent results each time, for different versions or tools. It seems installing tools is such a challenge? Is this normal behavior?

can you try again, I have updated the zlib packages.

This is probably due to a broken link, upstream has removed the zlib tarball. I have created an issue here and hopefully I can solve this tomorrow: https://github.com/galaxyproject/tools-iuc/issues/1100
