The past 2 nights I've attempted to follow the steps outlined in: http://nekrut.github.io/BMMB554/post/topic9/ The step 'Map with BWA-MEM' is repeatedly not executing. I refresh the history, allowing to process overnight- still not completed. Steps taken: Deleted and purged history Reloaded dataset from Data Libraries=>Tutorial=>Pooled Variant Calling I'm seeking guidance on how to troubleshoot this.

Hello,

I am having the same issue with the gentleman's comment above. How long is it considered too long when the job is running (grey-colored)? What is the the maximum length of a job run time?

Thank you,

Kristen

Hello Scott,

By "not executing" you mean the job is grey colored and queued, correct? The server in use is http://usegalaxy.org?

The queue for this type of job is a bit longer right now. Launch the jobs and allow them to stayed queued until executed. If you delete and re-run, the job moves back to the end of the queue - extending wait time.
