Question: URL upload that requires user and password (protected server data source)

I tried to copy and past URL from my Genomics core directory to GALAXY and I get an error saying Unable to fetch link to source data HTTP Error 401: Authorization Required

Access to these data are pass-worded.

Is there a way to allow authorization-or do I need to download first and then upload to site.
