Question: Two Galaxy installations at one compute server

Is it possible to install two separate galaxy server at one compute server (using two different user accounts)? (e.g. one for work and one for test)

Yes, as soon as you separate your database, files and ports this is possible. You can configure all of these in ./config/galaxy.ini. You can also run mulitple Galaxy-Docker containers if you like.
