Hi

I am wishing to add the plant genome browser to galaxy. I iniially thought about UCSC as it has many features whiah are very useful for my project. I didnt realise that it needs a developer to accomplish this task I am not one.

Could anybody please help me what steps should I be taking in this direction?

Hoping so.

Thanks

Viva

Hello Viva,

In Galaxy, this is quite simple. Use the Custom reference genome function including full indexing by creating a Custom Build. The visualization tool Trackster can then be used. This works for genomes, transcriptomes, exomes, etc. Full or partial.

Best, Jen, Galaxy team
