Question: normalization gene- rat genome

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a good normalization gene for conducting real time PCR for rat different gene expression.

Does anyone familiar with such?

Until now I used the housekeeping gene GAPDH, but in the current experiment it seems that its expression changes if the culture conditions change.

It has been a while since I myself have worked with rat data directly, and others may still comment, but I did find this prior Biostars post with some suggested genes to use for normalization, that others are using when performing chip-seq analysis. May point you in the right direction. There could be other posts there of interest - I just did a quick search.
