Hi,

I am working in a chemoinformatics research lab in which we mainly working with protein-ligand complex system for various analysis. I am to use Galaxy for my research work but I don't even know about Galaxy and nothing is available on site about galaxy. I just want some needful information on GALAXY like:

What is Galaxy

How it works

How we can utilise Galaxy for chemoinformatics study

How to create workflows etc.

I will highly oblige for the same.

Thank you.

Hi,

indeed Galaxy has a Cheminformatics subproject called ChemialToolBox. You can find all information here:

https://github.com/bgruening/galaxytools/tree/master/chemicaltoolbox and we also provide a Docker container for it, if you like to test it. We also have a Trello Board with further ideas and Tools that I would like to implement. Currently we are focusing a lot on ML to get this integrated with Cheminformatics. The Idea behind ChemicalToolBox is to be a starting point for a Cheminformatic Workbench based on Galaxy.

So if you want to join and contribute please get in touch with me :)

Cheers,

Bjoern
