Hi,

I was hoping to use Galaxy for some RNA-seq data isolated from the cultivated tomato, but I could not find the reference genome for it under the pull-down menu.  I was curious if there was any plan to add it?  I appreciate any information you can give.

Thanks,

Bryan

You can add your custom reference genome. Please find the details here: https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Custom_reference_genome

Hi,

I can also let you know how to request new genomes for consideration. Smaller genomes are best used as Custom Genomes, as are private genomes or those that you want to use immediately, but requests for larger public genomes are possible through this Trello card: http://trello.com/c/mJWnAuuQ

That said, this genome is already been requested and is under review: http://trello.com/c/RU3V9eZR

How to use Trello with the Galaxy project: http://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Galaxy_Issue_Board

Best, Jen, Galaxy team
