Question: Galaxy Activation Email

I never received the activation email for my galaxy account. I tried requesting an re-sending of the activation email. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Martin,

Thank you for taking the time to help with my issue. I do not have a
spam folder in my email. I have sent several requests for for
verification emails over the past 2-3 hours. Are there any possible
solutions? Could we try an alternate email address?

Since you registered today and we have grace period in place you should be able to run jobs as usual now. Let's give it some time to deliver the error message.

Tomorrow, if everything else fails, I will activate your account manually.

Hi Martin,

I still have not received any email regarding galaxy user verification
or errors. My galaxy jobs seem to be held on pause until I am
officially verified.

verification at the new email and it looks like everything is good to

I just got the error from MSU mailing servers that they identified the mail as a spam and refused to deliver it to you.

Hi Christopher,

what email are you using? You can send it to galaxy-bugs@bx.psu.edu if you don't want to disclose.

You can try changing the email and resending activation to the new one the same way as Daniel did.

Chris: did you try changing your email address (user/preferences/Manage your information) and requesting new activation email? You can use your private email for activation and then change it back. nih.gov mailservers might be hiding the activation emails from you.
