Dear Galaxy team, i would like to work on a few genomes that do not seem to be available on the system. Is it possible, and if yes how can i integrate those on Galaxy? sincerely yours, Eric Le 21 aoűt 09 ŕ 18:00, galaxy-user-request@bx.psu.edu a écrit : Eric RIVALS (PhD) - rivals@lirmm.fr - www.lirmm.fr/~rivals Head of Computer Science Dpt LIRMM, 161 rue Ada, 34392 Montpellier Cedex 5 FRANCE Tel. Hi Katie, For genomes that are not available on Galaxy Main (or general questions you might have about Galaxy), it's best to send an email to the galaxy- user mailing list (CC'd now). You can subscribe to the mailing list here http://lists.bx.psu.edu/listinfo/galaxy-user As far as the particular genome you're asking about, until it is to get added, you can upload it under your own account by following these instructions: http://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Support#Custom_reference_genome Hope this helps, Enis

Hi Katie, I added the genome request to our genome request tracking card: https://trello.com/c/kzVklAIE Using it as a custom genome is definitely the way to go for now. Best, Jen Galaxy team -- Jennifer Hillman-Jackson http://galaxyproject.org
