Good afternoon,

I downloaded an RNAseq file in .srr format using ftp in Galaxy. The file was converted into sra format. However, I cannot view the data. When I try to view the data, it gives me an option to open the file or to save the file. I do not know how I can utilise the file in Galaxy. The ftp address was: ftp://ftp.sra.ebi.ac.uk/vol1/srr/SRR313/000/SRR3134040. I hope you can help me with this.

Kind regards,

Henrik

sra format is compressed archive so cannot be visualized. What are you trying to do with the data? Meaning, which tools or functions? And are you working at https://usegalaxy.org or somewhere else?

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
