I would like to compare H3K4me3 ChIP peaks of several samples at TSS. Therefore, I used "compute matrix" and then "plot profile" or "plot heatmap". The sample names in the plots are "file_0", "file_1", "file_2" etc. How do I know which sample is which one and how can I change the names? Are they ordered according to the number in my galaxy history?

Thanks for your help.

Hello,

Yes, these are in the same order as originally entered on the tool form. You can click on the "i" View Details for the job to access this ordering.

Some discussion around improving how the data could be named more informatively is tracked in this ticket for a future tool update: https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/issues/4654

Good question, thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
