Question: feasability integration multitier architecture tool

Hi, I have a application composed of a pipeline of script, a database (postgresql) for data management, and a web application (managed by a tomcat container) that allow to browse the data. What is the feasability and what are the hurdles of integrating such a tool in a Galaxy instance ? Thank you, Thomas

We suggest reviewing other tools that create/utilize tool-specific databases during an analysis to better understand the integration scope and how those authors implemented the tool wrappers.

The Mothur tool suite is one example: https://toolshed.g2.bx.psu.edu/view/iuc/suite_mothur/768c2e48b706 The IUC tool authors can also be reached on Gitter at galaxy-iuc/iuc if you have a specific question about those tools.
