Hello,

I have a question about Galaxy and docker integration. How you can import a docker image to a Galaxy instance in order to work together?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

if you have Galaxy configured to use Docker and your tools do support BioContainers, then Galaxy should be able to download images for you on-the-fly as needed.

Cheers,

Bjoern

Thanks for your answer. But if i want to install an image that si not supported by BioContainers i wiil have to write my own .xml file. Am i right?

Also i would appreciate it a lot if you could write a complete guide on how to install Jupyter on my Galaxy instance.

Thanks again,

Dimitris

Strictly yes, but I would recommend you to create a BioContainer, by submitting a recipe to BioConda.
