It makes much more sense to show the signal distribution around the TSS, since peak distribution will rely heavily on the peak caller and its settings. The normal way to do this is to make bigWig files with bamCoverage or bamCompare, compute the coverage around the TSS with computeMatrix reference-point and then plot it with plotProfile or plotHeatmap.
