Question: How to use the REST API to import a published workflow

I want to write some client side javascript on our Galaxy site that will respond to a published workflow link we plan to have on the welcome page and will both perform the import and forward the user to the workflow view page. I looked through the API modules, but I could not find REST services to handle the import. I can just provide the import link but then I can't control the page flow to the view page. Is there a REST service that does this import function? Am I just not seeing it? Thanks.
