Question: Trying to get URL from Tophat output for IGV

Hello!

 

I am trying to visualize multiple sample's tophat outputs in IGV. 

I would like to be able to upload the files using the URL option in IGV, but I am not sure how to get the tophat run data in a URL form. Do I need to do a file conversion or is there any easier way?

Do you mean that you want the URL for the BAM dataset? Left-click on the disk icon within any dataset to capture the link. If you get stuck, I can point you to more details.

When I tried to add the URL that way into the add track option of IGV it would not work correctly. Instead it added a column at the top with a lot of nonsense symbols.
