Hello,

Files of this type are automatically uncompressed upon upload. The extension is used to determine type for compressed data - meaning this is best with a file ending in ".gz". If this was true and the error occurred anyway, there is a problem with the compression or the data upload. First, check that the files can be uncompressed locally on your own computer. Next, double check that the transfer was complete in your FTP client (if used). Please let us know if this does not resolve the issue.

Best, Jen, Galaxy team
