I am trying to re-run some analysis with a different set of data. I have used specific shared workflows for Cloudmap but for some reason this time around when I hit RUN, the analyze data view comes up with a blank page. I can't seem to run it for some reason. I have trie re-uploading it or using any other workflow but nothing shows.

Hello,

If you are using the shared workflow that I think you are (this was reported as a bug last week), the problem is with the workflow itself in the original account that started the sharing thread. It makes use of several older deprecated tools (Cloudmap tools, Bowtie for Illumina) and is corrupted in a unique way.

Workaround Resets the metadata on any workflow.

Right now the workflow is probably only shared with you (not copied into your saved workflows). Go to the top Galaxy masthead menu for "Workflow" and click on it. On your Workflow home page, there are two sections: Your workflows and those shared with you. Scroll down to the workflows shared with you, click on this one, and select "Copy" from the menu. If already copied into saved workflows, I would make a new copy anyway, then proceed. Workflows do not count toward account quota space.

Once copied into your saved workflows, click on your own copy and select "Edit" from the menu. Within the workflow editor, there is a gear icon in the upper right corner of the middle panel - choose "Save As" and enter a new name. This creates a new copy of the same workflow and the workflow editor will refresh to be based on it. From here you can directly run the workflow (same gear icon menu within the editor), or exit, navigate back to your history and run your new version from the workflow section at the bottom of the left tool panel.

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
