Does anyone know if there are plans to add support for the Rn6 genome assembly to the Lift-Over tool in Galaxy? The only rat genomes available are Rn4 and Rn5. Thanks!

Hello,

Yes, this is a goal. The ETA has not been determined. There are some technical factors that need to be resolved before new liftOver data is added. Progress can be tracked here: https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/issues/1470

Meanwhile, use the Batch Coordinate Conversion utility at UCSC http://genome.ucsc.edu. Produce results there and upload into Galaxy.

Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
