Question: Local Galaxy Login Issue

I'm having issues getting a local instance of Galaxy to allow me to log in.

I copied config/galaxy.ini.sample to config/galaxy.ini, changed the config/galaxy.ini to include my email in admin_users (and removes the comment line), host = 0.0.0.0 (and removed the comment line) and I run it by entering the url given after running sh run.sh.

Is there something else that I could be doing wrong when trying to log in? I've restarted it a few times to no avail.

I've had the Galaxy account for a while; however, I've only used the public Galaxy. Is there any need to make a new account?

yes, the accounts on 'usegalaxy.org' are completely separate from the accounts you can create on your local galaxy instance
