Question: History loading time

I have a free account on the online Galaxy Server usegalaxy.org). Reloading the history after changing an item's name takes a lot longer than I was used to (~15 sec.). Do you have an idea of what could it be due to?

How many datasets are in your history?

The details of my history says: 45 shown, 396 deleted. Deleted files has all been permanantly removed.

It was indeed the number of datasets (even deleted) that slowed down the editing of dataset information within my current history. When I moved the few datasets I was using to a new history using the "View all histories" panel, editing dataset names took me one or two seconds.

I am glad you were able to solve this. This is still an unwanted situation and we will check how to make this more pleasant to use. Thank you for reporting this!
