Hi

i'm working through the diploid variant analysis tutorial. The directions say to download the reference genome from the shared data --> data libraries --> training data --> hg19

the training data link is not an option in this path

where can I find the hg19 data to complete this tutorial ?

thank you

Hello,

Tutorials have a few ways to get the input data. Sometimes the server you are working on will have the data in a local Data Library and sometimes not. An external data source is noted within the tutorials (including this one) -- usually Zenodo. Get the data instead from that source.

Zenodo help: Have your tutorial Galaxy history active and click on the Upload icon at the top of the tool panel (far left panel). Use the Upload function "Paste/Fetch data". Here you can copy/paste in the links. If you do these one at a time, the datasets can be renamed at this step within the Upload tool. You can always change the dataset names once the data is in the history, but that is a bit more tedious to do (you'll need to keep track of the order the data was loaded, specifically the URL-to-dataset-name mapping).

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
