I am Research Professor of Pharmacology at the Univ. Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. My interests include developing oligo nucleotide antagonists of microRNAs as novel therapies of severe asthma.  I study mouse models of asthma and use RNA-seq to assess the efficacy and mechanism of action of experimental oligonucleotide drugs.  My research experience includes signal transduction biochemistry, cell biology of smooth muscles and most recently microRNA determinants of smooth muscle phenotype.
