Hi,

I am currently messing around with the new awesome collections and pairedcollections feature in galaxy. I am able to get my tool working with them as input, however it would also be nice to be able to output a 'paired collection'. Is this feature already implemented, and if so, could you provide me with a small xml example?

Kind regards,

Bas

PS:

I found this link which was quite useful for creating a tool using the new feature.

The feature is in the backlog and is going to be implemented. Progress is tracked at this card: https://trello.com/c/ndVQmt3G/1857-tools-should-be-able-to-generate-one-or-more-dataset-collections

Vote on the card if you want to raise the priority.

Martin, now that this has been fully implemented, what is the recommended way of producing a list:paired collection as output? The tests have used nested collections as input but not as output https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/blob/dev/test/functional/tools/collection_nested_test.xml
