Hi there,

I'm trying to run SnpEff on Galaxy, but the only Genome that it gives me access to is C. elegans. I'm working in the dog genome, and I know there's a SnpEff file that can be downloaded for the dog. How do I get this file into Galaxy? It seems odd that only C. elegans is available...

Thanks.

Steve

Hi Steven,

unfortunately there is no easy way. You need to convince the Galaxy Server Administrators to include it (Jennifer will help you here, for sure). An other possibility is to run snpeff in your own Galaxy instance.

Sorry for the bad news,

Bjoern
