Question: upload files with ftp

I use MAC OS, Filezilla as FTP client. After I log into my account, it always shows "connection time out" and I cannot upload my data to galaxy.

Does anyone has experience? THANKS in advance.

Ying, I am testing FTP on the Main usegalaxy.org server right now, but could you confirm that this is also where you are using Galaxy and that is the server name entered into FileZilla? Thanks, Jen

This is where I am using Galaxy, it's connected from CHOP.

Hospitals usually have strict network rules. You might want to try to connect to some other FTP server to make sure it is allowed port etc.
