How do I upload files at VirAmp via FTP? I cant find the tools to do it at viramp.com or at the VirAmp website

The function is under: Get Data: Upload File

Steps:

  • Make sure that you first log in or create an account at http://viramp.com/
  • First transfer the data via FTP to the server, then move the data from the FTP staging area into a history with the Upload File tool.
    • The server name is viramp.com
    • The username is your Galaxy account email address at this server (not the Galaxy "User name")
    • The password is your Galaxy account password at this server

This server has a slightly older Galaxy interface, but it is still similar enough to the FAQ help below that you should be able to find the options. I just tested an FTP upload there and it worked fine.
