Hi all, It's the first time for me on galaxy and I have some problem.

After the Deseq2 analyses, I have an excel tab with many genes. I try to choose some gene that have a big fold change with a good p-value.

But then I can't identify my gene. I have this kind of gene ID :

440823
9145
55964
23544

How convert this gene ID to identify them on gene ontology?

Thanks, Chloé !

Hi,

These are Entrez gene identifiers.

To capture the associated GO assignments, use the tool: annotateMyIDs annotate a generic set of identifiers (Galaxy Version 3.5.0.1)

To convert to other gene identifier formats, use the tool: UniProt ID mapping and retrieval

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
