Hello. I just re-installed galaxy after purchasing a new laptop. As I have done in the past I added my e-mail address in the admin_user section of the config file. However, it appears this time the config file = galaxy.yml.sample. Last time the config file = galaxy.ini, I believe.

After adding my e-mail address as an administrator I'm unable to gain access to the admin section for install tools.

Please let me know the best way to troubleshoot.

Thank you.

Galaxy has changed its configuration format, so if you set up a new Galaxy, it will run with default settings without any configuration file, even ignoring the samples. If you want to set up an admin account create galaxy.yml file and set admin_user: <your email> (note the colon instead of equal sign). You can see the example here: https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/blob/dev/config/galaxy.yml.sample#L1237
