I tried installing bcftools (standalone or suite) in three different local Galaxy Docker instances, but it fails every time with different outcomes. Most of the time, I end up on a blank page after clicking the "Install to Galaxy" button (instead of the page that prompts the user where to install the tool in the menu). Rarely, I make it past this point, but the tool gets stuck on "Setting tool versions" during installation. I've tried restarting the Galaxy server, to no avail. I've tried other tools and experienced the same outcome. I tried using the "Search Tool Shed (Beta)" option, nope.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,

Please contact the IUC team who create the Docker versions of Galaxy. This might be a configuration issue, but they'll be able to determine what the root issue is (and fix anything that may be a problem in the Docker source):

I also asked that team for help and referenced your question. They may reply here, or wait for you to post to Gitter. Admin troubleshooting is often quicker through a chat.

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
