Question: FTP upload fails

Hi, I registered with usegalaxy.org, activated my account and can login at Galaxy. However, when I try to use the FTP server via FileZilla, I get the error "Response: 530 Login incorrect. Critical error: Could not connect to server". Any help is much appreciated.

I updated my old password by re-using the old password and now the login works (weird). However, I get another error: "Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing"......

Now usegalaxy.org is back to "error "Response: 530 Login incorrect. " Nice!

The email address used as part of your credentials is case-sensitive. Yours has capital letters in it - my guess is that the lowercase version was used with the FTP client and this triggered the incorrect login.

Please follow the help there to start troubleshooting. If you continue to have problems, please do as Nate suggests and explain the steps leading up to the problem (screenshots will help).
