Hello,
The files might be too large (> 2 GB) to use the browser upload feature or your connection is slower. Instead, try using FTP if working on a server that supports it.
FAQ: https://galaxyproject.org/ftp-upload/
Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
Thanks Jen
the files are not that big 14.9MB and 1.5MB. I've been able to load them in the past without problem.
Hello,
I have been getting this error today with the FTP upload with filezilla today as well.
Failed: Please make sure the file is available. (500). 500 Internal Server Error nginx/1.12.2
In the past I have successfully used this process. Also today when I tried to upload via local file for a small file ~73mb the file would not upload. Do you know what the problem might be?
Thank you,
I get the same error - file fails to upload. Its not a big file.
The same is happening to me.
I'll test to see if I can reproduce. Feedback soon. Thanks everyone for the followup!
Update: We can confirm the issue. A fix is high priority but still pending.
