You can comment back with a list of links to posts that you would like to have removed and the admins here (including me) can remove those for you (and potentially delete that post-of-links-to-delete once resolved - let us know your preference - then the primary thread can be left as-is to share general information about how to do this type of curation). Or, if you'd rather, put those links in an email and send it to galaxy-bugs@lists.galaxyproject.org from the same email address as you use for your Galaxy Main account (if your Biostars account was created using it - this is true for your account).
For others that may be reading this, for situations where the Galaxy Biostars account was created directly (is not associated with a Galaxy Main account, or the email has been modified to be different), send the links to the same private mailing list (galaxy-bugs) using the registered email used at this site.
In short, we need to know which posts to remove and to confirm those are yours before deleting. Your posted content is moderated/protected and we have no problem with removing anything that you no longer wish to be public at sites we administrate. We can remove any content - a mistaken post/comment or not. What you want to be public ongoing is your decision.
As an alternative, you can always post an update reply or comment to the thread/post stating that the question does not require more feedback. Include details if you want to share how you resolved the problem (useful if you think the info may help others). These posts will still be active on the site, but this lets everyone know the status.
Either way is fine and how to do this is your choice.
