I am having trouble connecting to galaxy project through an FTP server since the protocol change was implemented. I have tried cyberduck and filezilla, and followed the video here: https://galaxyproject.org/ftp-upload/ to make sure that my filezilla settings were correct. Here is the log from filezilla:

Thank you for any help. I have tried changing my password and this did not help.

This is not just a problem with Filezilla and Galaxy. There are several reported issues with this command and this particular client reported around the web. The issue is not new and others have commented that it is not a fix that is planned for by the Filezilla developers.

I opened a ticket concerning the issue yet there may not be anything to do except to recommend using passive FTP with the Filezilla FTP client (update: issue now closed). I also updated the Galaxy hub page you referenced above to make that usage clearer.

Dear Jen, Thanks for responding. I tried running in passive mode and that didn't change anything. There are were some issues with the firewalls at my institution since the same files/settings transfer fine from a network. Thank you
