Are there any test Galaxy instances with the most recent Galaxy and IUC tools versions (e.g., IUC master)?

These sites:

point to these servers:

But the latest version of fastqc tool is 0.69 in IUC master: https://github.com/galaxyproject/tools-iuc/blob/master/tools/fastqc/rgFastQC.xml

Thank you!

Hello,

Updates to https://usegalaxy.org and https://test.galaxyproject.org are a continual and ongoing process.

If you wish to use a tool or tool version that has not available at these sites (can be for many reasons), using a local or cloud Galaxy is recommended. https://galaxyproject.org/choices/

I created a ticket for this request, although it is already on our list in an informal way (as most key tool updates are). Fastqc was updated again just 10 days ago (6-5-17). All server changes are prioritized against other changes. I added it specifically as a request and linked it to the current active server update tracking ticket to make it easier for you (and others) to track: https://github.com/galaxyproject/galaxy/issues/4196

Regarding the test server, this is used for testing and other reasons. Tools here can change states/versions at any time and may at times be unusable. We make the server available publically as a convenience and to gain community feedback for brand new tools and/or pipelines and/or features. For analysis, use the main server. https://galaxyproject.org/test/

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team

Thank you, Jen! If I understand correctly, there is no server available to the public that has continuous integration scheduled (e.g., nightly) builds of Galaxy and IUC tools master? This means that for a quick test of the latest versions of common tools, local/cloud is often the best option.
