Hi, I am running cufflinks on two sets of datasets (as a collection). One set was finished in a few hours and the other set remain gray for >24 hours with a clock icon. So I end up deleting the dataset permanently and rerun the dataset and the same thing happened. I am doing the same thing in the last few days and things are not improving. I kept all the parameter same for the two sets of datasets. Can someone please help me on this thing?

Now I am running 3 cuffling at a time (on same data) hoping one will come up with a result (not sure if it is a bad thing to do) but every jobs are in gray colour for the last 14 H.

Thanks for your time.

Regards, Raihan

Even I am experiencing a similar problem. I started Cuffdiff, but the history item remains gray with an exclamation mark. I would be extremely thankful if the problem can be resolved. Thank you. PG

UPDATE: My submitted jobs were processed. Now it worked for me.

Hi Jen, This is happening again. My cufflink are pending for more than 24 hours now. I rerun them couple of times but the result is same. Could you please have a look.

Hello,

There were server issues that are now resolved. The job queue may take a while to clear the backlog, but jobs are moving.

This is true for all job types with the exception of Trinity. We are still working to resolve the issues with that external server. Updates will be given at this post, once resolved: https://biostar.usegalaxy.org/p/22642/

Thanks for reporting the problem and our apologies for the inconvenience. Jen, Galaxy team

I have one job that ran gray on the weekend, turned yellow on Monday and is still in that state. View Data shows that at least some of the data has been processed. And a second job has been running in the gray since Monday.

Do I still remain hopefully these will clear through or should I stop and start a new run? Thanks, Keith

Hello all -

Has everyone that reported a delay in job execution (grey = queued) had the jobs start up by now (as either yellow = processing or green = completed)? Please post a comment to this answer if you are still having problems with grey queued datasets for over a day.

Thanks! Jen, Galaxy team
