Hi, I am trying to do RNAseq analysis using Galaxy. I have tophat files which i used to run the cufflink yesterday. But the cufflink is neither uploading my tophat files nor processing it. I am wondering what to do next. Why galaxy server is being so slow ? Is it under the maintainence, can some body help me ? Thank you.

What Galaxy server are you using and how are you uploading files to it?

Usually if the size of the files you want to upload is large (around 2 GB each) I strongly recommend to you to upload them through FTP!

FileZilla is a good way to achieve that, it's easy to use and rather reliable.

Once fully uploaded your files will appear on the "Choose FTP file" option from the upload tool (upper-left corner on the main page).

Hello rthapa and luca (great question and answer, thank you both!),

Help for FTP is here:

If using, then the server to connect to is

If working at another server, and FTP is enabled, the server to connect to is the base URL name for the server.

Cheers, Jen, Galaxy team
