Good day,

I am trying to setup a galaxy server behind a corporate firewall. We use a proxy to connect to the internet.

To test galaxy, I first installed it on my laptop and tested it on my own LAN, where I could connect with a remote computer.

What do I change to allow a connection behind a proxy?

Kind regards, Lucas

That sounds like a question for your IT group. Biostar and Galaxy are not responsible for your company's safety protocols.

That said, if you have a DNS domain for your server (hopefully with your company's authentication protocols in place) then you will have to have someone who knows what they are doing expose that. I really hope you are using https.
