We can`t install Pilon and VTTools to our Galaxy cloud instance, how to fix that? Should we change smth in galaxy.ini and .xml files? Some tools hang in yellow Cloning stage and do not appear in menu. Need advices how to tune it properly. Thx.
Both of these repositories install into a local 17.10 Galaxy from the Main Tool Shed with managed dependencies checked, including Conda as a resolver.
Double check that managed dependencies is used when installing and that the dependency resolvers are set up: https://docs.galaxyproject.org/en/master/admin/dependency_resolvers.html
After you make changes, restart Galaxy and then uninstall and reinstall the tools.
Thanks, Jen, Galaxy team
Thank you, should we change something in XML or .ini files? Will standard Galaxy instance work on cloud or should we switch to the CloudMan or the Globe variation?
Hello - Cloudman is the primary version of a standard Galaxy install designed to work with AWS cloud resources. Please see: https://new.galaxyproject.org/cloudman/
The help Enis provided about other alternatives was already posted to this question from you: https://biostar.usegalaxy.org/p/21760/
Let try to keep all the question in the same threads that are follow-up when suggested help does not resolve your problem. After reviewing the shared help, be specific about the exact problem that is still present, steps you have done, and the like - otherwise, it is difficult to offer more help.
